Research

My research is available for free below as linked PDFs, organized into expandable sections for journal articles and commissioned reports. All documents are listed in reverse chronological order.

My research explores the disclosure of sensitive data on internet platforms and surveillance tech, and ethical data collection in wearables and IoT. I’ve written about cultural values in Nordic AI policy, specifically trust, transparency, and openness. Recently, I’ve examined consumer views on data privacy in drone delivery in the US and five Nordic countries. The impact of culture in how and what we perceive to be personal data is a central focus of my research.
